Silver at London Design Awards

We’re delighted to share the good news that Phoenix Wharf’s (Part of Istoria Group) project supporting ‘Do Something for Nothing’ Founder Joshua Coombes with his new book and website has won the Silver award at the coveted London Design Awards.

Earlier this year we featured this uplifting story and pro-bono project on our blog. Istoria Group already supports local Bristol homeless charity The Julian Trust and are passionate about the cause, so when the book project started, Claire Menzies (Chairwoman, Istoria Group) put Joshua in touch with Phoenix Wharf’s Founder & Creative Director Chris Gwyther, whose company mission statement, ‘Substance with Soul’ made it a perfect fit for creative involvement beyond the purely commercial.

Phoenix Wharf who looked for nothing in return were blown away by this recognition from a national design award. What an achievement!

Highly Commended at Creative Retail Awards

And, The Bristol Loaf, a new bakery, café and environmentally-friendly supermarket continues to be acknowledged by judges across hospitality design, with the Creative Retail Awards recently ‘Highly Commending’ the project and work of the award-winning South West design team at Phoenix Wharf.

Congratulations to everyone involved!
